Lee Han Shih
Lee Han Shih is the Founder and Head of Potato Productions group of companies. A Singapore-based multi-media company with a presence in many countries, (including China and Hollywood USA) through various partnerships, joint ventures and associate companies.
Previously, Han Shih was a teacher, a civil servant in a range of government roles and a journalist with Singapore Press Holdings. He was a Senior Correspondent with The Business Times newspaper for over 20 years.
Founder of Omnitoons, CEO
Karen has more than ten years of experience in the Internet and mobile industry, having started her first company when she was just 22, with a new product that was sold to all three major Internet service providers in Singapore. In 2004, she co-founded ComiAsia, which received more than SGD $300 000 in grants from the government to start a social mobile comics portal.
Omnitoons was eventually started when she successfully landed Paramount Pictures Inc as a partner to convert their movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging into a comic for mobile distribution. Since then, Karen has never looked back and has converted Omnitoons into Singapore’s leading iOS app solution provider. By 2010, she has steered the company into the Enterprise Mobility market and created products that can be tailored and deployed readily in less than a week. DBS, OCBC, GIC and Canon are some of the clients. Among the innovative solutions, include a paperless Board Meeting, enterprise mobility document management solution and more! Our key focus is to assist companies to have a ready platform that helps companies to go more nimble and aggressive with mobile training, engaging presentation and mobile payment.
She is an experienced speaker and has been interviewed by various presses, magazines and on TV. She has appear on Singapore Straits times, Channel News Asia, News on 5, Channel U 财经追击.
